For 2008–2009 housing at the 83 Brattle apartments, mail a completed PDF application to the Housing Office at 84 Brattle Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02138.
The 83 Brattle Street apartment building offers newly renovated and vintage-style apartments steps from Harvard Square. A variety of styles and price ranges are available to meet different needs and budgets. All leases are written for twelve months (September–August). All units are smoke-free and pet-free. Building amenities include:
- Elevator
- Hardwood floors in most units
- Close to Harvard Square and public transportation
- Coin-operated laundry on site
- Recycling room
Apartments are available for viewing Monday through Friday during business hours. Please call 617-495-1252 to schedule an appointment. Married and family housing is also available at the 83 Brattle Street apartments.

Eligibility
All Radcliffe fellows and full-time Harvard faculty, staff and graduate students are encouraged to apply for housing at the 83 Brattle Street apartments.
Application Process
Applications can be accessed on-line at the top of this page or by contacting the housing office at housing@radcliffe.edu. Please return a completed application to the housing office (84 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA 02138) by 3 p.m. EST on April 30, 2008.
Applications are dated and assigned a lottery number upon receipt and grouped based on apartment style preference. Lottery numbers are selected at random until all apartments are full.
Preference is given to Radcliffe fellows who apply for housing at 83 Brattle. Those selected for an apartment will be notified via e-mail by June 1, 2008. First month's rent and a signed copy of the lease are needed to secure your space in the building.
