Dean Barbara J. Grosz

Barbara J. Grosz is dean of the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. She is the Higgins Professor of Natural Sciences in the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

The team working with Dean Barbara J. Grosz to set the intellectual agenda of the Institute includes Homi K. Bhabha, senior advisor in the humanities at the Radcliffe Institute, senior advisor on the humanities to the president and provost, Anne F. Rothenberg Professor of English and American Literature in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and director of the Humanities Center; Nancy F. Cott, the Carl and Lily Pforzheimer Foundation Director of the Schlesinger Library and Jonathan Trumbull Professor of American History in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences; Stephen M. Kosslyn, senior advisor in psychology and neuroscience at the Radcliffe Institute, divisional dean for the social sciences, John Lindsley Professor of Psychology, and chair of the psychology department; and Jennifer Leaning, senior advisor in international and policy studies at the Radcliffe Institute, professor of international health in the Harvard School of Public Health, and assistant professor of medicine in the Harvard Medical School.
