The (Abridged) Estate of Rochelle F., 2010–2012

Fellow's Exhibit

An exhibit featuring works by artist Rochelle Feinstein, the 2012-2013 Mildred Londa Weisman Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute.

Rochelle Feinstein is a professor at the Yale University School of Art and the director of graduate studies in painting/printmaking. Her recent solo exhibitions include The Estate of Rochelle F. at On Stellar Rays in New York City (2011) and I Made a Terrible Mistake at APF Lab in New York City (2009). She has also had solo shows at Momenta Art in Brooklyn (2008) and The Suburban in Chicago.

About the works in this exhibit, she says "My paintings develop as thematic, relational clusters, not serially. Not unlike moving from one film, novel or project to the next. My conceit was to feature myself in the role of the protagonist, playing dual parts: as the producer of and the executor for The Estate."

The exhibit is in the first floor gallery of Byerly Hall at 8 Garden Street, Radcliffe Yard, Cambridge, MA 02138.

There will be a public opening for The (Abridged) Estate of Rochelle F., 2010–2012 on November 8 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

From November 9 through December 11, 2012, the exhibit will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
