Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a fiction writer and author of three books: the novels Half of a Yellow Sun (Knopf, 2006) and Purple Hibiscus (Algonquin Books, 2003) and the short-story collection The Thing around Your Neck (Knopf, 2009). She will be researching and writing a new novel while at the Radcliffe Institute.
