The film features internationally renowned scholar, professor and writer Angela Davis, and 89-year-old grassroots organizer and Nobel Peace Prize nominee Yuri Kochiyama. In the film, they share intimate conversations about personal histories and influences that shaped them and their shared experiences in some of the most important social movements in 20th century United States.
The theme of this year's film series at the Schlesinger Library is "Ages of Women." Films are shown in the Library's Radcliffe College Room the first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. and, when possible, are followed by a discussion session. Admission is free and open to the public. Please note that there is no screening in January.
