Lecture by Dániel Péter Biró RI '15
During his time at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, Dániel Péter Biró is completing the composition cycle titled Mishpatim (Laws), for voices, ensemble, and electronics. Setting text from the Hebrew Bible, he will investigate historical and semiotic relationships between music, text, and meaning via contemporary music composition. The composition cycle will be recorded at the Experimentalstudio of the SWR in Freiburg, Germany, and released by the recording label Neos.
