Technology and Archival Processing

April 2014

This workshop will bring together technologists and leaders in the field of libraries and archives for a problem-solving workshop. Approximately 50 attendees will enjoy a series of speakers and then consider the application of innovative technology for improved access to manuscript collections. The group will brainstorm new ways to speed archival processing and to apply computer science in all areas of archival work. The goals of the event are to increase awareness of this subject, start cross-disciplinary relationships, and broaden the base of interested parties.
