Workshops

Modern South Asia and the Wider World

March 2013

This workshop will bring together an international group of junior and senior scholars who are exploring new directions in the study of South Asian history, including the welter of global political and cultural connections in the decades before and after the demise of British India in 1947. The workshop will advance this line of inquiry by bringing scholars together to share sources, methods, and future avenues of inquiry, and to discuss the possibility of an edited collection on the topic.
