This exploratory seminar would build on my Radcliffe project on alternative ways of thinking about geography and knowledge. I would like to expand the project in an interdisciplinary way and reach out to scholars at Harvard and beyond. I would especially value the possibility of doing collective work, which is not done as often in the humanities as it might do.

I have two goals in mind: one is to contribute to an emerging field of study; the other is to explore the curricular possibilities of using notions of mobility to innovate course design, connecting faculty from different areas in a dynamic map.
