Anson Chan, who addressed a crowd of students, faculty and the public at the Radcliffe Institute, looks forward to the day when the China can claim greatness not because of the size of its gross domestic product or scale of its military might, but with its ethical leadership.
Anson Chan outlined her hopes for her country during remarks at the Radcliffe Institute that included both harsh criticisms of China and what she called its “potential to be a force for tremendous good in the world.”
