(Agnès Varda, 1985)

Agnès Varda’s film follows a young woman drifting aimlessly through the south of France. The  story of eighteen-year-old Mona’s life as a vagabond is told through flashbacks and documentary-style interviews.

The theme of this year's film series at the Schlesinger Library is "Ages of Women." Films are shown in the Library's Radcliffe College Room the first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. and, when possible, are followed by a discussion session. Admission is free and open to the public. Please note that there is no screening in January.
