All Our Tragic is Sean Graney’s twelve-hour adaptation, combining all thirty-two surviving Greek tragedies. It acts as a blueprint for a modern Festival of Dionysus.

A public reading of All Our Tragic will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Knafel Center in Radcliffe Yard.

The public reading will feature a presentation of the text in full with intermissions and meal breaks. The playwright and directors will be seated with seventeen actors around a table. The actors will read from electronic devices while the script is projected on a large screen, allowing the audience to read along.

This unique theatrical event is free and open to the public.

Snacks will be provided throughout the day. Please come and go at your leisure, although maintained endurance for the entire event is encouraged.
