Lecture by Jon Stewart RI '17

During his fellowship, Jon Stewart is examining Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel’s Lectures on the Philosophy of Religion, specifically his accounts of Buddhism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, and the Egyptian religion. His goal is to understand how this appreciation for non-European religions can be seen as the beginning of a new understanding of religion in a globalized world.
