CANCELED: Dramatic Creativity in the Middle Ages

Fellow's Presentation

Due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, we have regrettably decided to cancel this public program. We do not take these decisions lightly, but the health and well-being of our community must come first and we are acting in accordance with the most recent Harvard University guidance.

Part of the 2019–2020 Fellows' Presentation Series

Lecture by Margot E. Fassler RI '20 and Susan Rankin RI '20

Free and open to the public.

At the Radcliffe Institute, Margot E. Fassler and Susan Rankin will work on a study of religious dramatic forms and genres that existed in the context of the Roman rite in western Europe (800–1500). The resulting book will engage with select medieval institutions—including monasteries, friaries, and cathedrals—and in several geographical areas.
