Reiko Yamada RI '16 created Reflective based on the aesthetic concept of imperfection in human life. The unique interaction of movement and music can be experienced the week of January 25 in the Johnson-Kulukundis Family Gallery. Creation of the installation included Radcliffe Research Partners Ben Wetherfield '17 and Phil Golub '16.
Composer Steven Kazuo Takasugi's "Sideshow" had its US premiere at the Radcliffe Institute. The Boston Globe reports: "'Sideshow' was music theater. Visual elements—the striped false teeth the musicians surreptitiously slipped in, the dropcloth that suddenly unveiled a taxidermied fish in a bell jar—were as essential to the experience as the sonic."
