Evan P. Economo is a professor in the Biodiversity and Biocomplexity Unit at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology. The goals of his fellowship project are to advance global ant biodiversity informatics and to use data sets from the Map of Life and ButterflyNet projects to investigate the reciprocal influence of diversification of butterflies and ants, focusing on lycaenid butterfly-ant associations.
