This information is accurate as of the fellowship year indicated for each fellow.

Montserrat Teixidor i Bigas conducts mathematical research in the area of algebraic geometry. She has served on the faculty of Tufts University since 1989, where she is now an associate professor.

During her year at Radcliffe, Teixidor plans to study the interplay between the geometry of curves and the equations defining them. One of her main tools will be the nature of the vector bundles on those curves.

Teixidor earned her PhD at Universitat de Barcelona in Spain. She has served the mathematical community by acting as a reviewer for numerous journals, including the Bulletin of the American Mathematical Society, the Duke Mathematical Journal, and the Journal of Algebraic Geometry. Among the institutions where she has held visiting positions are Brown University and the University of Cambridge in England.
