A presentation from 2022–2023 William Bentinck-Smith Fellow Asifa Majid
Majid investigates language, culture, and cognition. For her fellowship project, she will focus on words—the building blocks of language—synthesizing work on semantics and concepts across disciplines to develop an integrative theory of conceptual variation and change in the lexicon.
