Student Jane Kamenky reading during research class

Instructors from across Harvard and local colleges and universities are welcome to schedule library orientation sessions for their classes.

Sessions are designed to introduce students to the library's holdings as well as provide instruction on online research tools and methods. Instruction can be tailored to meet course-specific research needs. Research staff are also happy to compile course-specific research guides.

Non-class groups interested in learning about our holdings are welcome to schedule a general introduction or specialized presentation.

Sessions and presentations are provided by prior arrangement during regular library hours. We are able to accommodate a maximum group size of 20 people. Please contact us for more information. Harvard instructors may also schedule a class visit with the Harvard Special Collections and Archives Class Request Tool.
