A presentation from 2021–2022 Radcliffe Fellow Ladee Hubbard
Ladee Hubbard is the author of two novels, The Talented Ribkins (Melville House, 2017), which received the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award and the Ernest J. Gaines Award for Literary Excellence, and The Rib King (Amistad, 2021).
While at Radcliffe, she is researching and writing a novel that places the late 20th-century War on Drugs in the larger historical context of African Americans being used in drug trials and medical experiments.
